We are looking for experienced full time asphalt team members who are able to operate either paver, roller, skid steer loader and or heavy vehicles!About the Role
- Experienced member of our Asphalt Paving team that contributes to the successful delivery of our projects
- Ensure work sites are operated safely in accordance with Bitu-mill’s HSE&Q systems and Integrated Management System
- Operate various plant and equipment for the safe delivery of asphalt projects
- Contribute to the effectiveness of the team through role modelling and productive personal behaviour
- Contribute to toolbox meetings, risk assessments and capture of project-specific information
About You
- If new to the industry, have the energy, drive and enthusiasm;
- Likes people and builds relationships;
- Friendly and responsive with ‘can do’ / ‘problem solver’ approach to work;
- Calm in handling and resolving site challenges;
- Flexible, adaptable and open to new methods;
- Strong attention to detail and likes to get things right;
- Physically able to undertake the role – there will be a pre-employment medical.
Requirements
- Asphalt experience – able to operate a paver, roller, skid steer loader and heavy vehicles
- Car license, equipment competencies or licenses, and Construction Induction Card.
- Beneficial: MR Truck license, Skid Steer Loader License
