About the Role:
With the support and mentorship into the Supervisor and/or Superintendent working within a collaborative team, you will achieve excellent project outcomes.
You will work closely with staff and sub-contractors to ensure safety and compliance standards are adhered to.
Travelling from time to time multiple sites across Victoria, for you to maintain strong hands-on engagement with stakeholders.
Primary Duties:
- Lead and mentor internal members of the team.
- Manage and supervise site staff (including apprentices) and sub-contractors.
- Ensure works comply with client specifications and BildGroup procedures.
- Manage onsite documentation efficiently.
- Recording daily activities and cost tracking.
- Assist with the programming of and procurement for the project.
- Maintain and develop customer relationships with key stakeholders.
- Promote and develop a strong safety culture.
- Have an excellent attention to detail.
- Deliver high quality work, while adhering to project timelines.
Mandatory Skills:
- Minimum 2 years’ leading hand level experience
- Experience with subdivision Projects, Road Construction, Bulk Earthworks and Service Works.
- Great communication skills and ability to lead a team to carry out construction activities safely and efficiently and to a high standard”.
