  • About the Role:With the support and mentorship from the Regional Construction Manager you will be working within a supportive team, you will partner closely with staff, sub-contractors and the customer to provide best practice project management. This is a busy and diverse role for an experienced Project Manager looking for challenge across the Civil Infrastructure sub-divisions industry.

    In order to maintain hands on engagement with all stakeholder this role will require the successful candidate to travel around the projects across Bendigo Region and Northern Parts of Victoria.

    Primary Duties:

  • Ensure work sites are operated safely in accordance with project SWMS and BildGroup’s HSEQ systems and Integrated Management System;
  • Lead and mentor other members of the team
  • Develop and mentor a collaborative team of engineers to achieve highly successful project outcomes
  • Work closely with the superintendent to ensure all project support, engineering and administration duties of your team are planned well in advance to keep our sites running safe and efficient
  • Ensure works comply with client specifications and BildGroup procedures;
  • Manage onsite documentation efficiently;
  • Recording daily activities and cost tracking;
  • Assist with the programming of and procurement for the project;
  • Deliver works with your project team to forecast budget and delivery dates;
  • Lead ongoing cost improvements;
  • Maintain and develop customer relationships with key stakeholders;
  • Promote and develop a strong safety culture;
  • Continually improve the skill level of our site workforce;
  • Have an excellent attention to detail;
  • Deliver high quality work, while adhering to timelines;
  • Working with the Business Development Manager assist in identifying future opportunities within the region and maintaining strong relationships with Key Stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent;
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience within a similar role;
  • Must be fully up to date with all the government mandated direction related to COVID 19
  • Proficient with programming and planning works, with MS Project;
  • Solid understanding of MS office programs, Bluebeam and Vista construction software;
  • Friendly, energetic, enthusiastic leadership skills;
