About the Role:
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a highly reputable business within the civil infrastructure industry and forge a rewarding long-term career with an employer that values its people and is dedicated providing a workplace where you can grow and thrive.
Reporting to the Construction Manager and working within a supportive team, you will partner closely with staff, sub-contractors and the customer to provide best practice project management.
Primary Duties:
- Ensure work sites are operated safely in accordance with project SWMS and BildGroup’s HSEQ systems and Integrated Management System
- Lead and mentor other members of the team
- Manage and supervise site staff and sub-contractors
- Ensure works comply with client specifications and BildGroup procedures
- Manage onsite documentation efficiently
- Recording daily activities and cost tracking
- Assist with the programming of and procurement for the project
- Lead ongoing cost improvements
- Maintain and develop customer relationships with key stakeholders
Mandatory Requirements & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent;
- Minimum 7 years’ Project Management experience, ideally delivering quality sub-divisions;
- Experience with delivering Road Construction, understanding of traffic management requirements and Bulk Earthworks;
- Proficient with programming and planning works, with MS Project;
- Solid understanding of MS office programs, Bluebeam and Vista construction software;
- Good understanding of cost forecasting and detailed analysis financial parameters.
