About the Role:

Reporting to the Construction Manager and working within a supportive team, you will partner closely with staff, sub-contractors and the customer to provide best practice project management. This is a busy and diverse role for an experienced Project Manager looking for challenge across the Sub Divisions Civil Infrastructure industry.

Based primarily in Campbellfield, there is regular travel throughout the sites across northern and western metropolitan Melbourne, to maintain a high level of hands-on engagement with stakeholders.

Primary Duties: 

  • Ensure work sites are operated safely in accordance with project SWMS and BildGroup’s HSEQ systems and Integrated Management System
  • Manage and supervise site staff and sub-contractors
  • Ensure works comply with client specifications and BildGroup procedures
  • Manage onsite documentation efficiently
  • Assist with the programming of and procurement for the project
  • Deliver works with your project team to forecast budget and delivery dates
  • Lead ongoing cost improvements
  • Maintain and develop customer relationships with key stakeholders
  • Project’s financial performance at completion and time phasing of financial parameters
  • Manage Risks and opportunities in execution, and their potential impacts to project’s financial performance

Mandatory Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent;
  • Minimum 7 years’ Project Management experience, ideally delivering quality sub-divisions;
  • Experience with delivering sub-division Projects, Road Construction, working in greenfield environments, understanding of traffic management requirements and Bulk Earthworks;
  • Proficient with programming and planning works, with MS Project;
  • Solid understanding of MS office programs, Bluebeam and Vista construction software;
  • Friendly, energetic, enthusiastic leadership skills;
  • Good understanding of cost forecasting and detailed analysis financial parameters
