Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to Bild Group Pty Ltd [ABN 48 645 883 996] and all associated entities as defined under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) (“BildGroup”).
BildGroup seeks to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (“APPs”) contained in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) (“Privacy Act”). The APPs govern the way in which we collect, use, disclose, store, secure and dispose of your personal information.
Personal Information
Personal information means information or an opinion about an identified individual or an individual who is reasonably identifiable, whether the information or opinion is true or not, and whether the information or opinion is recorded in a material form or not.
Sensitive Information
Sensitive information means information or an opinion about an individual’s racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, religious beliefs or affiliations, philosophical beliefs, membership of a professional or trade association, trade union, sexual orientation or practices or criminal record that is also personal information.
Sensitive information includes health information about an individual, genetic information about an individual that is not otherwise health information, biometric information that is to be used for the purposes of automated biometric verification or identification or biometric templates.
Why we collect information
We may need to collect some of your personal information so we can operate our business.
We only collect sensitive information if the information is reasonably necessary for one or more of our functions or activities and you consent to us collecting the information.
For example, the information we collect can be used when we provide you with services, communicate with you, or consider any concerns or complaints you raise against us.
The information collected could also be relevant to our operational requirements such as account management, risk management, corporate governance, auditing, contract management and recruitment.
If we don’t collect this information, it may compromise our ability to operate our business and deliver our services to you.

Where reasonable and practicable to do so, we will collect your personal information only from you. However, in some circumstances we may be provided with information by third parties. In such a case we will take reasonable steps to ensure that you are made aware of the information provided to us by the third party.

Access to your Personal Information
You may access the personal information we hold about you by contacting our Privacy Officer.
BildGroup will not charge any fee for your access request but may charge an administrative fee for providing a copy of your personal information.
To protect your personal information, we may require identification from you before releasing the requested information.
Correcting your information
If you believe your personal information is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, please contact our Privacy Officer.
If we don’t agree that your information needs to be corrected, we’ll let you know why and what you can do if you are not satisfied with our decision.
Complaints
If you would like to make a complaint about a breach of our Privacy Policy or the Australian Privacy Principles, you can contact our Privacy Officer.
You can also make a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at https://www.oaic.gov.au/.
We generally seek to resolve complaints by investigating the complaint and deciding what has occurred. In most cases, we aim to have a resolution within 5 working days and seek to confirm the outcome in writing.
