Tennis court upgrade improves facilities for the community

BildGroup’s sports fields and surfaces team was delighted to work with our client on upgrading the Bundoora Tennis Club. This project would not only give the well-used courts 7 and 8 a fresh, modern look, but also allow users to enjoy play on a safe and high-performing surface.

Our scope would also include new fencing, drainage, and court lighting works, making sure the courts were safe and well-lit for evening matches. In selecting the new surface, it is hard to go past FieldTurf’s Club 40 sand-filled synthetic system. It’s highly adaptable, durable, and provides players with confidence in a true, even ball bounce for the entirety of the match.

With a budget of $582,690, we completed the project in April 2022. The Bundoora Tennis Club now boasts beautifully upgraded courts that meet the highest standards, and we’re proud to say the client was very satisfied with the outcome. Seeing the community enjoy these improved facilities is incredibly rewarding.
