Civic Reserve Mornington

New athletics track and sports fields for the community

BildGroup’s sports fields and surfaces team was privileged to work with our client to create an exceptional sports and recreation area at Civic Reserve Mornington. This project aimed to provide the community with a premier sporting facility to enjoy and be proud of.

Our main task was constructing four natural soccer fields, covering a total area of 36,550 square metres. Adjacent to these fields, we built an IAAF-accredited 10-lane athletics running track, ideal for both casual joggers and serious athletes.

To ensure convenience and accessibility, we included ample car parking spaces and all necessary amenities. We laid down 8,666 square metres of asphalt track pavement and 3,900 square metres of concrete footpath pavement, ensuring durability and longevity. Additionally, we installed 1,480 linear metres of fencing to keep the area safe and secure.

The $6.8 million project was completed on time and achieved one of our key goals: minimising impact on the neighbouring community.

This new space at Civic Reserve Mornington offers fantastic opportunities for sports and recreation. It is a community hub where people of all ages can gather, stay active, and enjoy the great outdoors.
