Ellarook: Stage 3 and 12 Wetland

Restoring nature and connecting community

Working alongside Landsite and Intrapac Property, our landscape team delivered the Ellarook Stage 3 and 12 Wetlands with a focus on sustainability and community connection. The project began with bulk earthworks and careful site preparation, setting the foundation for a thriving wetland ecosystem. Extensive planting of wetland and terrestrial species was undertaken, with biodiversity and habitat creation at the heart of the design. Paths, seating, and fencing were installed to invite residents to engage with the natural environment, making the wetlands accessible and welcoming.

The works didn’t stop at construction. Ongoing establishment and maintenance ensure the wetlands continue to flourish, providing long-term ecological and social benefits. The result is a functional and sustainable wetland that enhances local biodiversity, supports habitat values, and offers open space for recreation. Residents now enjoy a place where nature and community meet, with the wetlands serving as a living asset for generations to come.
