Honouring heritage and enhancing habitat

Resimax Group and the City of Whittlesea partnered with our landscape team to deliver the Findon Creek Wetland project. The works included the reconstruction of a culturally significant stone wall, extensive softscaping with over 47,000 plants, and direct seeding by tractor. Earthworks, rockwork, and fencing were carried out with care, protecting remnant trees and retaining existing sedges and rushes.

The completed wetland enhances both ecological value and cultural character, creating a sustainable and respectful landscape for the community. Large-scale planting has boosted biodiversity, improved ecological function, and provided a resilient, visually appealing environment. The project stands as a celebration of heritage and habitat, offering lasting benefits for people and nature alike.
