Creation of McCubbin Drive Reserve

BildGroup’s landscape team had the pleasure of creating McCubbin Drive Reserve for the wonderful community of Mt Duneed. Engaged by Newlands and Graham Bentley Landscape Architects (GBLA), we transformed a hill in Warralily Grange into a fantastic park with both fun and practical features.

One of the park’s highlights is the downhill gravel BMX pump track. This thrilling ride features winding paths, timber berms, and ramps that weave between rolling jumps. Our experienced team enjoyed the challenge of building this track and showcasing their skills.

Adjacent to the track, we constructed a concrete skate ramp and a small basketball court, providing great spots for skaters and basketball enthusiasts to enjoy outdoor activities. We also included a public toilet and a shelter to ensure visitors have everything they need for a comfortable day out.

But McCubbin Drive Reserve is more than just a venue for sports. It features a playground for families, beautiful gardens for strolling, and a shelter where visitors can relax and take in the stunning views of the region and the ocean.

We hope the community of Mt Duneed enjoys this new space. It’s a place where everyone can come together, have fun, and appreciate the beauty of their surroundings.
