New activity and recreation hub for the Banyule community

Teaming up with our client, BildGroup’s sports fields and surfaces team had the pleasure of delivering an exciting project for the local community. Our goal? To create a vibrant and inviting space where residents could come together and enjoy outdoor activities.

The project involved the construction of a natural turf soccer pitch alongside a synthetic turf soccer practice pitch, a children’s playground, car parks, and access roads.

In addition to the main features, we also took care of essential infrastructure like electrical works, lighting, fencing, and landscaping. This comprehensive approach ensured that every aspect of the project was thoughtfully considered and executed to the highest standards.

By the time we completed the project in October 2021, we had created a space that truly enhanced the community. With 2,032 square metres of concrete pavement, 1,900 square metres of landscaping, 3,996 square metres of synthetic pavement, and 6,900 square metres of car park and road pavement, we had transformed the area into a hub of activity and recreation.

Not only did we enhance the infrastructure and public roads, but we also added significant value to the surrounding area and community. With 150 new car parking spots, residents now have plenty of room to park and enjoy the amenities.
