Plenty Road & Everton Drive Intersection

Making everyday journeys safer

Working alongside the City of Whittlesea, BildGroup’s civil infrastructure team delivered a new signalised intersection connecting Everton Drive to Plenty Road, Mernda. This upgrade was designed to ease congestion and improve access to the future regional sports precinct, making everyday journeys safer and smoother for locals.

The project involved a comprehensive intersection build to Department of Transport and Planning standards, including drainage, traffic signals, public lighting, asphalt paving, landscaping, and a carefully planned traffic management approach. Every detail was considered to meet VicRoads specifications (R2 & F5), with a focus on safety and immediate usability for the community.

By installing innovative traffic management arrangements and quality infrastructure, we’ve helped create a safer, more accessible road network for Mernda. The intersection is now ready for use, supporting local growth and providing a vital link to new sporting facilities.
