New community playground and pump track

BildGroup’s landscape team had the honour of contributing to the vibrant community of Clyde by creating Riverfield Reserve. Teaming up with Brown Property Group and Urban Edge Landscape Architects, we set out to build a space that would bring joy and excitement to residents of all ages.

At the heart of Riverfield Reserve is its community playground, where kids can let their imaginations run wild. But we aimed to add some special touches to make this park truly unique.

One of our proudest achievements is the custom asphalt pump track. Anticipating that it would be a hit with the community, we engaged a contractor with international BMX racing experience to ensure it exceeded expectations. The result? A thrilling ride that’s more than just a track – it’s an experience.

We also wanted to infuse some artistic flair into the park, so we included a formed concrete frog sculpture. This playful addition adds character to the space and sparks the imagination of young visitors.

Practicality was also a key consideration. We constructed a custom shelter to provide shade on sunny days and protection on rainy ones. Despite challenges like boggy ground and wet weather, our team persevered to deliver a park that’s both functional and beautiful.

Riverfield Reserve has become a place where the community can come together, have fun, and create lasting memories – and that’s what it’s all about.
