Tennis court reconstruction for the community

BildGroup’s sports fields and surfaces team had the privilege of teaming up with our client to bring a fantastic project to life at Robert Booth Reserve. Our mission? Constructing six top-of-the-line synthetic tennis courts that would be the envy of the community.

The project scope included earthworks, drainage, crushed rock base layer, fencing, and concrete slabs in readiness for the synthetic surface. A new sports lighting system and fencing works completed the upgrade of this facility.

Bringing the clay court experience, we installed FieldTurf’s unique Classic Clay synthetic grass system. While it emulates the characteristics of clay court tennis, it greatly reduces the intensive maintenance generally required on an en-tout-cas court.

The project was completed in September 2022, right on schedule, with a total budget of $1.2 million. Now, Robert Booth Reserve boasts six state-of-the-art tennis courts that are sure to be enjoyed by tennis players of all ages and levels in the community.
