Improved road benefits for locals and tourists

In collaboration with our clients, BildGroup successfully delivered the Surf Coast Highway project, a significant endeavour aimed at enhancing local infrastructure while prioritising community needs. The project encompassed various critical components, including the construction of a signalised intersection, meticulous line marking, effective drainage systems, and high-quality asphalt paving.

Throughout the project, we were keenly aware of the impact on the community, particularly during local summer events such as the Cadel Evans’ Great Ocean Road Race. To mitigate disruptions, we meticulously staged our work, ensuring minimal interference with both residents and event participants.

One of the project’s key challenges was working over the main potable water supply to nearby housing estates. We worked closely with authorities and stakeholders to understand construction restrictions, ensuring that the work was executed safely and without compromising essential services.

Continuous technical discussions with our clients were integral to achieving our goals of delivering an upgraded intersection of superior quality and exceptional safety standards. This collaborative effort ensured every aspect of the project met the highest industry standards.

By completing stages ahead of the peak summer season along Surf Coast Highway, we ensured the road was ready for immediate use, benefiting both commuters and tourists alike.
